Medical & Chemistry Research Laboratory

The Medical & Chemistry Research Lab (MCL) has established standards in the related medical and chemistry fields for providing calibration service to the domestic industry. The major works include the development and dissemination of certified reference materials, techniques for gas concentration verification, and Contract research & consultancy, etc. In 2012, MCL has passed the assessment of the Taiwan Accreditation Foundation (TAF) and got the certification of ISO Guide 34, which recognizes MCL as the first lab domestically for the competence of reference material producers.

 Calibration and Measurement Capabilities, CMCs

Since 2006, the calibration and measurement capabilities (CMCs) in the area of “amount of substance (QM)” have been incorporated in BIPM’s key comparison database (KCDB.) It indicates that MCL possess strong measurement capabilities in calibration services to satisfy the demands of our chemical industry.
