In Special act for forward-looking infrastructure 「Civil IoT Taiwan」project point that number of sensors of perception layer should be meet the requirement then the architecture of the Internet of Things could be achieve goal of smart city construction.
The meters for people's livelihood are the most common and widely distributed sensors. Therefore, in order to meet the needs of national development to establish of high-accuracy and high-compatibility meters test and verification regulations and facilities that including water meters, electricity meters, and gas meters are important. In this study, ITRI according to international standards to construct the performance test regulations and facilities for electronic, safe and metrological with smart meters in line with my country needs and will ensure fair market transactions, maintain public safety, and promote the development of related industrial technologies.
