Introduction
The Laboratory has established 11 flow calibration systems and 4 pressure system for traceability of industrial flow and pressure meters. In the area of liquid flow, the laboratory has established two water flow facilities and a micro flow facility to provide calibration service to the water flow meters, micro flow meters and syringes. High-viscosity and low-viscosity oil flow calibration systems are supporting to calibrate quantity type oil meters. In the area of gas flow, the FERL has established a high pressure gas flow measurement system for meter calibration; 4 low pressure gas flow measurement systems to provide calibration service to the industrial sectors as sonic nozzles and gas meters. A Laser Doppler Velocimetry system is capable of calibration of flow speed sensors. In the area of pressure, there are 4 pressure systems has been established for piston Gauge and different types of pressure gauge calibration.
